T20 World cup 2009

A 27 match tournament whose matches will be starting with 2 different timings as 5pm and 1:30pm (UK) and to be played at only 3 stadiums across England. The game opening will be played between qualifier runners-up Ireland and England.

The ICC has also announced top two ranked teams in each group and given them a number 1 and 2 correspondingly. The 12 teams are broken into group of 3 in first stage out of which 2 teams will be qualify for the second round where each team play 3 more matches before succeed for the semi-finals.

For example, if Bangladesh top ranked Group A and India finished second in the same group; India will still remain as A1 and Bangladesh will remain as A2 in Super Eights stages. If Zimbabwe knockout Bangladesh in Group A then Zimbabwe will become A2. If team 3 knocks either of the seeded teams out, this team will take their seeded number.

In the upcoming season of ICC T20 World Cup 2009, 12 teams are going to participates for the tournament and all the teams are divides in the four groups as given Below :

· Group A : India, Bangladesh, Ireland

· Group B : Pakistan, England, Netherland

· Group C : Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies

· Group D : South Africa, New Zealand, Scotland

Super Eight Groups:

Groupe E: A1, B2, C1 and D2

Groupe F: A2, B1, C2, and D1

The ICC T20 World Cup 2009 will be starts from Friday, June 5, 2009 and the first match is between the teams England and Netherlands, which are from Gruop B at London and the same match is Day night.

The same tournament ends on Sunday, June 21, 2009 with the Final match, which helds at London.
