Upendra's latest directorial venture Super, which was released on 3rd December, has got tremendous opening at the Box office. Producer Venkatesh has said that the movie has set a new record at the Box Office by earning Rs. 2.5 crores in the first three days. This collection is more than what Jackie had earned in three days.
Talking to oneindia, producer Rockline Venkatesh shared his happiness over the good beginning of the movie Super. He said,"The film has got good opeining at the Box Office. I don't have exact details of its collections because usually we get it after one week of the release. It has earned aproximately Rs. 2.5 crores in the first three days and this is a record collection at the Box Office."
The movie Super has been released in nearly 181 theatres across the state. Talking about the number of theatres, he said, "Here number of theatre doesn't matter because the film is not being screened in all the four shows in all the theatres. Some theatres have four shows, some have two and a few have one show. The movie has a total of 450 shows per day and we are getting good response from all these shows."
Super has been made in three languages, but the Kannada version has been released first. Thousands of fans in Andra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are eagerly waiting to see the Tamil and Telugu versions. Venkatesh said, "There is no difference in all these three version. The story is same in all the three version. Tamil and Telugu versions will be released four weeks after the release of Kannada version."
